This adventure takes you deep into the Karakoram to the legendary K2 Base Camp and across Gondogoro La Pass. The trek passes through historic camps along the Baltoro Glacier, Concordia—the “Throne Room of the Mountain Gods”—and offers jaw-dropping views of K2, Broad Peak, and the Gasherbrums. Crossing Gondogoro La (~5,940m) adds both challenge and reward, leading into Hushe Valley before returning to Skardu. With acclimatization and buffer days included, this trek is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for serious adventurers.

Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel. After some rest, you’ll attend a trek briefing and equipment check. Explore the capital city if time allows and prepare for your adventure ahead.
Take a scenic flight over Nanga Parbat and the mighty Karakoram peaks to reach Skardu. If the flight is canceled due to weather, an alternate drive on the legendary Karakoram Highway begins. Overnight stay in Skardu.
Spend the day exploring Skardu’s bazaars, historic forts, and lakes. This day also allows your team to finalize permits, organize porters, and double-check gear before the trek.
A full-day jeep drive along the Braldu River to Askole, the last village before the wilderness. Overnight camping marks the official start of your trek.
Begin trekking through rugged terrain, crossing suspension bridges over streams and rivers. Camp at Jhula, surrounded by striking rock towers.
A beautiful trekking day leading into wider valley landscapes. Paiju offers lush campsites, with mesmerizing views of Paiju Peak.
Rest day to adjust to the altitude. Short hikes are possible, and porters often prepare bread for the trek here. Overnight camping at Paiju.
The trek enters the mighty Baltoro Glacier, one of the largest outside the polar regions. Enjoy views of Trango Towers and Uli Biaho.
Climb steadily on the glacier with stunning views of Masherbrum and other granite peaks. Urdukas campsite offers one of the best panoramic views of the trek.
A challenging day over icy terrain as you trek deeper into the Baltoro Glacier. Camp near Goro II with a clear view of the ice-clad Masherbrum.
Reach the legendary Concordia, known as the “Throne Room of the Mountain Gods.” Surrounded by K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum IV, and Mitre Peak, this campsite is a highlight of the trek.
Spend the day exploring Concordia with an optional hike to K2 Base Camp and Gilkey Memorial. This is the closest point to the world’s second-highest peak.
A shorter but steady trek to Ali Camp, the staging point for Gondogoro La crossing. Final preparations and rest before the big climb.
Start early morning to climb Gondogoro La. Witness breathtaking sunrise views of K2 and surrounding 8000ers. Descend steeply to Khuspang on the other side.
Descend through the Hushe Valley, enjoying greener landscapes, wildflowers, and views of Charakusa Valley peaks.
Trek to Hushe, the first permanent settlement after the wilderness. From here, drive back to Skardu by jeep and check into the hotel.
Relax and recover, or explore nearby attractions like Shangrila Lake, Shigar Fort, or the old Skardu Bazaar.
Fly back to Islamabad (weather permitting). If not, drive via the Karakoram Highway.
Reserved for flight cancellations or road delays. Alternatively, sightseeing in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
