Arrival in Islamabad, Pakistan

Meet our team at Islamabad International Airport. Transfer to hotel, rest, and attend trek briefing. Explore the city if time permits.

Fly or Drive to Skardu (2,228m)

Take a scenic flight to Skardu over Nanga Parbat. If canceled, travel via Karakoram Highway by road. Overnight in Skardu.

Preparation & Exploration Day in Skardu

A free day for acclimatization and permit arrangements. Visit Skardu Bazaar, forts, and local lakes. Final trek preparations.

Drive Skardu to Askole (3,000m)

A rough jeep drive along the Braldu River to Askole, the last village before glaciers. Overnight in camp.

Trek Askole to Namla (3,400m)

First day on the trail leads onto Biafo Glacier. Trek to Namla campsite near the glacier’s snout.

Trek Namla to Mango

Walk along the rugged glacier with striking rock towers. Camp at Mango, offering dramatic views of Latok peaks.

Trek Mango to Baintha (4,000m)

A long day over ice ridges. Baintha campsite is grassy and scenic, with views of Ogre Peak (Baintha Brakk).

Rest & Acclimatization Day at Baintha

A well-deserved rest day. Short hikes possible for acclimatization. Camp amidst lush meadows beside the glacier.

Trek Baintha to Morfogoro

Trek further into the icy wilderness with crevasses and snow ridges. Camp at Morfogoro.

Trek Morfogoro to Karfogoro

Another demanding day on the glacier. Camp at Karfogoro with mesmerizing views of surrounding peaks.

Trek Karfogoro to Snow Lake (4,800m)

Reach the legendary Snow Lake, a vast basin of ice surrounded by majestic mountains. A highlight of the trek.

Rest & Exploration Day at Snow Lake

Spend the day exploring Snow Lake, photography, and short hikes. Essential for acclimatization before Hisper Pass.

Trek Snow Lake to Hisper La Base Camp

Gradual ascent on the upper glacier to set camp at the foot of Hisper La (Pass).

Cross Hisper Pass (5,150m) to Hisper La Camp

Early morning climb to cross Hisper Pass, the link between Biafo and Hisper Glaciers. Stunning panorama of peaks and endless ice. Descend to Hisper side for camping.

Trek Hisper La Camp to Hisper Glacier Camp

Descend along the massive Hisper Glacier, trekking between moraines and icy terrain. Camp on the glacier.

Trek Hisper Glacier Camp to Hisper Village (3,000m)

Final trekking day. Walk down the valley to reach Hisper village in Nagar. Celebrate the successful traverse. Overnight in camp or local guesthouse.

Drive Hisper Village to Karimabad, Hunza

Jeep drive down to Karimabad, Hunza. Visit Baltit Fort and enjoy views of Ultar, Ladyfinger, and Rakaposhi.

Rest & Sightseeing in Hunza

Explore Hunza’s culture, Attabad Lake, Passu Cones, and Khunjerab Pass (if time allows). Overnight in Hunza.

Drive Hunza to Chilas (via KKH)

Drive south on the Karakoram Highway to Chilas. Overnight in hotel.

Drive Chilas to Islamabad

Complete the drive back to Islamabad. Evening free or optional farewell dinner.

Departure from Islamabad

Transfer to airport for international departure. End of the Hisper Pass Trek.
